Students from SES participated in a cross country egg toss this year (visit the Saltsburg Challenge blog (http://saltsburgchallenge.blogspot.com) for more detalis). The class sent eggs to Philadelphia, New Jersey, California, and New Zealand. SES then received a call via Skype from the recipients to watch the opening of the package and to check the status of each egg. This project offered students a great chance to make connections with other classrooms across the country and around the globe.
